Junction Craft Beverage Co. (JCBC) is proud to be one of Ontario’s top craft breweries and beverage producers. We are located in the Junction’s Stockyards area of west Toronto. Since our inception in 2011, we have been steadily growing. Now, we call a beautiful former 1930s Art Deco public works building, affectionately known as ‘The Destructor,’ our home. You can find JCBC brands and beers across the province in the LCBO and at numerous restaurants and bars throughout the GTA. Additionally, products made for our partners are sold and shipped across North America.

About The Role
This role, reporting directly to the Brewmaster, is a key function within our production team. This position is permanent and full-time. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, company health benefits, and team profit sharing.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Works well in a team environment
Is results-oriented
Can communicate effectively and handle objections on-the-fly
Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Has strong attention to detail and a dedication to cleanliness
Understands the importance of safe work practices
Is available to work between the hours of 6 AM and 11 PM
Key Job Responsibilities
As a cellar technician, your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, fittings, and equipment
Operating and cleaning the centrifuge
Dry-hopping and/or fruiting beers
Conducting beer transfers
Preparing bright beer and RTD blends
Performing quality checks, including daily gravity and pH readings, CO2, and DO readings of bright beer
Collecting and handling yeast
Supporting brewers with material preparation
Maintaining a clean and tidy brewery
Operating equipment safely and efficiently
Safely lifting up to 55 lbs
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
2-3 years of experience working in brewery production or a relevant industry
A secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or equivalent experience
